The Oran R-III Board of Education approved the addition of fall baseball for the 2015-2016 school year in last night's monthly meeting. Eagle Head Coach Joe Bickings had drafted a letter to Superintendent Mitch Wood that indicated his interest in fielding a team in the fall. Mr. Wood read that letter to the board during the November meeting. Last night Coach Bickings presented the entire proposal including expected expenses during the open session. Athletic Directer Joe Shomaker stated that he saw nothing that would interfere with preparation for other sports' seasons. The vote was 6-0 in favor of the measure.
