The varsity started out with a 12-9 lead after the first quarter but Rams took control in the 2nd outscoring the Eagles 17-1 for a 29-10 halftime lead. Scott City led the rest of the way, enroute to a 54-37 victory.
Hunter Schlosser scored 11 while Jacob Priggel added 10 for Oran, now 2-3 and 0-1 in conference.
The junior varsity trailed 11-5 after 1 and 27-12 at the half before losing by a final of 58-35. Drew Reischman led the Eagles with 15 while Layne Johnson scored 10. Their record is 1-1 and 0-1.
The jv will be back in action on Saturday at Advance at 11 am taking on Perryville.
Both squads will play on Tuesday as the Eagles host East Prairie in a conference contest.
