Lady Eagles Advance in Chaffee Tournament

After a disappointing performance during an upset loss to Puxico on Monday evening the Lady Eagle wanted to make a statement on Wednesday against East Prairie. And make a statement they did.

Oran took a commanding 21-2 lead after the first quarters and never looked back on the way to a 59-8 shellacking of the Eagles from Mississippi county.  Allie Cummins scored 10 of her game high 19 points during the initial eight minutes.

Tatum May had 12 points and six assists.  Ashlyn McIntosh had eight points and a team high nine rebounds for Oran who is now 2-1 and will be back in action on Saturday for the consolation championship at 1 pm against the winner of tonight's game between Scott City and Woodland.
