Eagles take 2 at Risco

The Oran Eagles broke a two game losing streak with a 61-44 road win at Risco last night.

The Eagles held a slim two point margin, 9-7, after one quarter but steadily increased their lead the rest of the way.  In the the third period Oran outscored it's opponent 22-12.

Hunter Schlosser knocked down 19 to lead the Eagles.  Max Priggel added 14, while Jacob Priggel chipped in 11.  JP made it a double-double as he snared 11 rebounds.

The varsity is now 2-2.

The junior varsity opened their season with 21-19 two quarter victory.  Layne Johnson led the way with 13 points including 4 of 5 from the free throw line.

The Eagles will be back in action on Friday as they host conference foe Scott City at 6 pm.   The game will also be a preview of the first round match up at the upcoming Semissourian Christmas Tournament.
