The 7th grade concluded with an 8-6 record following their defeat to number one seed Delta, 57-16. Dane Shands, Ty Johnson & Kole Simms each scored four points apiece.
The 8th grade game looked as it was going to be a blowout as Oran trailed top seed East Prairie 10-1 after the first period and 23-11 at the half. The Eagles clawed their way back into it but came up short 52-46.
Jacob Shoemaker led the way for Oran with 38 points, 32 of those during the 2nd half. He hit five from beyond the arc, those all coming during the final two quarters also.
The older team finished their season at 10-4.
It was the final junior high game for Sam Finnie, Avery Mitchem, Calen Read, Layne Robinson & Jacob Shoemaker.
