The Oran junior varsity boys basketball team took the Kelly Hawks to the wood shed tonight.
The Eagles won by a final 61-13. Oran held the Hawks scoreless until only 45 seconds remained in the opening quarter. It was 21-3 after one and 38-5 at the half.
It got no closer in the second half as the Eagles extended their lead to 55-9 after three before the mercy-rule running clock ended the pain.
Layne Johnson had 18, while Cole Priggel had 17 for Oran (6-5) who will next take on Scott City in a semi-final game on Thursday at 5:30 pm.
