The Eagles were punched in the face and knocked down early as they trailed 16-2 with 2:30 remaining in the opening period.  it was 20-7 after one.

Oran got off the mat and clawed their way back into the contest in the second quarter.  After a Jacob Priggel trey with 1:37 left before the half, the Eagles only trailed by three, 26-23.  The Hornets scored the last four to lead 30-23 at the intermission.
