Boys finish second

The third-seeded Oran eighth-grade boys basketball team finished second in the Scott-Mississippi Conference Tournament, losing to top-seeded Scott City last night 48-27.

Oran led after one quarter, 10-9, but the Rams took control after.

Only three Eagles got into the scoring column.

Robby Menz had 10 points, he hit two from beyond the arc.

Camdyn Triblett had nine and Luke Peterson had eight, including a trey.

They were 2 of 6 from the line for 33%.

The Eagles finished the season 6-5.
