What's happenin' (1/21-1/26)

This week's schedule for Oran High School athletics is still in flux because on Saturday the final contest of the opening round of the girls Scott-Mississippi Conference Tournament between Kelly and Scott City was postponed due to weather and a new bracket has yet to be released so we will keep everyone updated via social media as soon as we have the info.

On Tuesday, the boys (5-0, 16-1) will host Oak Ridge (3-2, 12-4) in a conference and district matchup.  The junior varsities will tip off 6 pm.

On Friday, the boys head up to Leopold to take on the 2-10 Wildcats at 6 pm.  Leopold has games against Chaffee and Meadow Heights this week before the Eagles come to town.

The varsity boys will be back at it Saturday morning at 10 when they begin play in the Scott-Mississippi Conference Tournament at Scott Central.  Oran, the number-one seed,  is looking to claim back to back crowns at the varsity level.  The opening round opponent is Kelly, who enters the week at 5-9.  The Eagles have two victories over the Hawks thus far this season.
