The Oran Junior High school girl's basketball team opens it's season on Monday as they start their 11 game regular season at conference foe Chaffee at 6 pm. The Scott-Miss conference tournament will be held in Delta this year.
Coach Ethan Evans had this to say about his squads. "We only have 4 seventh graders and one of them is injured right now so we will be looking for a lot of help from our 6th grade group. The girls have been working really hard and picking up on things at an extremely fast pace."
In reference to the eighth grade he said, "they return a pretty talented nucleus of girls who finished 2nd in the conference last year. I'm looking for big things from them and hope to challenge for the conference title this year."
