The Week Ahead (9/7 -9/11)

Even though the Monday holiday makes it a short school week, the athletic calendar is jammed pack.

On Tuesday, baseball hosts Leopold at 4:15 while volleyball buses to Leopold for a 6 pm match.

Wednesday sees baseball travelling to Bernie for a 4:30 pm game.

On Thursday the boys and girls are back in action with the baseball team in Bell City at 4:30 and the volleyball team at conference for New Madrid County Central.  That match is scheduled a 6:00 pm first serve.

It's all volleyball Friday and Saturday, as the Eagles will be participating in the Dig for Life Classic.

On Friday evening, they will play Gideon at 4:30 and Zalma at 7:50 on court number 2 of the main Show Me Center floor.  On Saturday morning they will take on Seckman at 9:40 in the Rec Center on court number 4.

These first three games are a part of pool play and will determine where, when and whom the team will play during the tournament portion of the event.

Dustin Ward of The Daily Statesman does a good job of covering high school volleyball and will more than likely be the best source of updates.  Here is a link to what he has up now:  link to Dig for Life information

As always:  GO EAGLES!
