Schlitt signs to play volleyball

Erin Schlitt signed to play volleyball at Crowley's Ridge College in a ceremony at Oran High School today. Schlitt, a senior, missed most of the past season to due to a knee injury.

Crowley's Ridge College is a four-year school located in Paragould, Ar.  They compete in the National Christian College Athletic Association.  Their mascot is the Pioneers.

The Pioneers are coached by Barry Wheeler.  He told the blog, "Very pleased to have Oran's Erin Schlitt a part of the CRC vb family. Erin brings such an excitement to the team. Love it!"

Schlitt said this about the opportunity, "I'm very blessed and excited to play the sport I've loved all my life. I honestly thought my knee surgery would've kept me from playing but I worked hard in physical therapy and stayed motivated. I couldn't do it without my parents though. They've been supporting me through it all and I'm very thankful for them and everything they've done for me!"
