Volleyball wins fourth straight

The Oran Junior High School girls volleyball team guaranteed themselves a winning season after picking up a two-set win against Richland at home last night.  The Eagles won 25-15 and 25-13 to improve to 5-3 with one match left.

Kaylee Payne once again led on the stat sheet with 6 aces, 3 kills and a block. Heather Gosche and Sam Welter also had 6 aces.  Savannah Elfrink added 3 aces and 3 kills, while Bailey Shipley chipped in with a kill of her own.

Coach Erika Hutchcraft said, "We had a great game and came out with a win!  Richland started to get ahead of us in the second set and played a very scrappy game, keeping us on our toes."

The team will close out it's season this evening when they host the Bell City Cubs at 6 pm.
