Volleyball wins on the road

The Oran Junior High School volleyball team picked up it's third consecutive victory last night with a straight set sweep at Zalma.  The Eagles won 25-15 and 25-23.

Kaylee Payne led Oran with 12 aces and 3 kills.  Sam Welter had 4 aces and a kill, while Savannah Elfrink added 3 aces and a kill. Heather Gosche had 2 kills and Bailey Shipley also had a kill.

Coach Hutchcraft told the blog, "The first set the girls were ready to go.  The second set we got sluggish and we weren't talking; it took us more time and my two time outs for the girls to step up their game and pull out the win.  I am so proud of them for pulling together when it got tough and getting that win!"

The Eagles, now 4-3, will host Richland on Thursday evening at 6.
