Baseball bombs Bobcats

The Oran High School baseball team picked up an easy 4 inning victory over Delta on Thursday.  The Eagles won 26-1 as Preston Hahn tossed a no-hitter.

Oran scored 5 in the first when they sent 10 to the plate.  Twenty-three Eagles batted in the second inning and 18 scored.  Oran went to the bench in the third and batted around again with 3 crossing the plate.

Hahn improved to 3-2 with the win.  He gave up only 1 unearned run on a walk and 7 strikeouts.

Clay Sauceda was 3-3, with 5 RBI, including a double. Drew Reischman was 2-3 with 4 runs driven in.  He also had a double.  Cole Priggel was 1-1. He drove in 2 and scored 4 times on a double and 3 walks.  Layne Johnson had 2 hits, scored 3 times.  Austin Eftink also had 2 hits, scored twice and drove in 3.

The Eagles improved to 9-8 and will host conference rival Kelly on Tuesday at 4:30.
