The Oran High School volleyball teams lost at Bloomfield last night.
The junior varsity dropped straight sets, 25-18 and 25-8. The varsity forced three sets. They lost the first and third big, squeaking out the second. The scores were 13-25, 25-23 and 10-25.
Head Coach Larry Boshell said, "Bloomfield is a really good team and I thought we put a scare in them after winning the second set. We played a whole set like I know we are capable and hopefully we can build on that."
The jv is now 1-8 and while the older team is 4-10-1.
Stats were not available.
The volleyballers will travel to Bell City this evening to take on the Cubs. Game time is 6 pm.
