Kaylee Payne served 2 aces and had a kill. Kenzie Graviett had and an ace and 2 kills while Jessie Long was was credited with 2 kills.
The older squad is now 6-12-1 and the younger is 1-10.
Coach Larry Boshell said, “The girls played with a lot of intensity. We tracked balls down all over the floor, played solid defense and competed. We have seen a lot of improvement in the last week and hopefully we can continue to improve and be a threat in the district tournament.”
They will be back on the road again tonight as they travel to Charleston to take on the Blue Jays in a conference match that starts at 6. It is that last regular season contest, as the conference tournament will be next week followed by the district tournament the following week.
