All the action this week will be during the first half of the week. Thursday is a half-day with parent-teacher conferences and there is no school on Friday.
Monday is jam-packed as the volleyball district tournament will start in Bernie. The Eagles, the number-four seed takes on the fifth-seed Richland at 4pm. Oran won the regular-season meeting in straight sets. A win in the opener would propel them into the quarterfinals at 6 pm against the top-seeded Advance Hornets.
Also on Monday, the junior high girls conference tournament will continue in East Prairie. The seventh-grade plays Kelly at 5:45 and the eighth-grade will play Chaffee immediately following.
Not to be left out, the junior high boys has its home-opener at 6 pm. They will host Woodland.
The boys will be back in town on Wednesday when they host Bell City, also at 6.
