The varsity lost in three, 25-17,17-25 & 23-25. Dropping them to 2-10-2.
Kaylee Payne had nine kills. Traci Hency had five aces and three blocks. Laney Shy dished out 12 assists.
On Saturday, the jayvee participated in a tournament at Scott City. They went 1-7 in pool play.
On Monday, the varsity hosted Zalma. The Eagles were swept in straight sets: 11-25, 22-25 & 21-25.
Payne had four kills, four aces and two blocks. Kennedi McVay had four kills, as well. Hannah Boshell had 12 assists. Savannah Below and Shy were each credited with a dig. The varsity is now 2-11-2
Both squads will be back in action on Thursday when they host Sikeston at 6 pm.
